☕ Coffee is my meditation of choice when I wake

☕ Coffee is my meditation of choice when I wake up in the morning. ⁠
⁠
I am a trained #coffeebarista and so, I know that coffee is a plant that has a fruit that we then process and becomes a bean. This bean is then roasted and grinded to be mixed with water and be made into a beautiful, aromatic, tasty cup of coffee.⁠
⁠
Lots of people participate in this process... The person who plants the coffee, the people who pick the ripe fruit, the people who make sure the coffee is well processed, the people who ship the coffee to Europe (in my case), the people or person who roasts the coffee...⁠
⁠
And me! After all that process, I can only focus on brewing my morning beverage to the best of my ability and be grateful for the #coffeechain.⁠

💥Why am I giving whatever I'm giving? (time, energy, attention)?⁠
💥Who am I trying to seek approval from?⁠
💥What am I diminishing about myself? Why?⁠

They may be triggering to some of you but that's how you know this aspect of you needs healing and work... 🌈⁠

I learned these in a course called "From Co-dependant to Independent" by @dailyom. 💯 recommended. ⁠

However, I think that the best way to start caring about yourself a bit more is by knowing yourself and who are you exactly first, without anyone's influence. There is a course to do just that on my website if you're interested 😊 (link in bio)⁠

🌠What happens in a Reiki Healing session?⁠
I direct this energy with my hands to different energetic points of the body (chakras). These chakras can sometimes be too “open” or too “closed”. What Reiki does is that it brings those energy points back to a balance.⁠
⁠
⁠
Once in this state, some physical, emotional and spiritual issues can come to the surface. ⁠
⁠
⁠
The person receiving Reiki normally just feels warmth in my hands or other sensations, but it doesn’t physically hurt. It’s a relaxing experience and a moment to pause.⁠
⁠
⁠
Then, I like to have a chat with the people I give Reiki to so that they are aware of those energetic blocks.⁠
⁠
⁠
Also, I believe everything is energy (money included). The person who gives Reiki acts as a channeller for the energy that heals your physical, emotional and spiritual body. As much as I love helping people and giving Reiki, it is still an exchange of energy and should be treated with respect.⁠

No, the cards can only tell you where you are and the natural progression of your actions. I personally see it as a self-development tool more than a fortune telling technique.⁠

I’m a vegetarian/vegan since May 2019. I did it because I felt better when I didn’t eat meat. The animals part is a plus, for sure! But it was not my priority at that time.⁠

My family and friends naturally ask me and tell me "oh, I just couldn't", "but what do you eat then?!", "don't you miss it?"⁠

First, you don't have to... You really don't. ⁠

Second, I eat all the dishes in the pics and more. I've become used to plate it as if it was for an important guest in my house... 'Cause I am... 💃👑 They happen to also be quite delicious, so... that's what I eat! 💁‍♀️⁠

And thirdly, no, I don't really miss it, because I've learnt to eat right for my body, for my health, so... for me! And it feels really good. Whatever doesn't feel good, it's not coming in. ⁠

That's for food but the rest of my life too... ⁠

This post isn't to tell you to not eat meat... Just a little reminder to pay attention to what you are putting into your body/energy! 💜⁠

I’ve heard from several people this kind of story “Imagine you are in the beach and you see someone drowning… Wouldn’t you give this person a hand? Save them? You can do it by selling them your product!” ⁠

Surely if they were drowning, I would just save them, not try to sell them anything though?!⁠

Maybe this is the minimalist in me talking, but you don’t need whatever product they’re trying to sell you. You need water, food, shelter, breathing, human contact… That rules out their product (mine included).⁠

Even though these past few weeks have been quite intense, I feel like I've gained strength and resilience towards "darkness"/"negativity".⁠
⁠
I struggle to find a balance between "showing up" online, feeling like an impostor, following my intuition and being a human being... Anyone else? ⁠

I think it comes down to going back to your center. Whatever that is and however that is. No matter what life throws at you, the minute you step in your center, the rest just adjusts to you.⁠
⁠
For me is time in the beach 🌊 and I'm so thankful that I chose Barcelona pre-pandemic. 💜
